Day 01: Delhi - Chandigarh (240kms/ 6hr)
Pickup from Delhi Railway station / Airport, drive to Chandigarh. Arrive chandigarh transfer to hotel. Afternoon Visit Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Sukhna Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Chandigarh - Dalhousie (318kms/ 8hr)
After breakfast drive to Dalhousie. Arrive Dalhousie transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Dalhousie
After Breakfast move for local sightseeing in Dalhousie. Dalhousie has charming colonial architecture, including some beautiful churches. Its location presents panoramic views of the plains- and like a long silver line, the river Ravi twists and turns below Dalhousie. The spectacular snow-covered Dhauladhar Mountains are also visible from this enchanting town. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04: Dalhousie - Khajjiar (26 Kms)
After breakfast we proceed to Khajjiar. Often called India's Switzerland, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of about 5 km. along its fringes, thick forests of deodar climb the slopes, and the snow-line rests above these woods and in the centre of the glade, is a small lake fed by streams that traverse the green carpet. Khajjiar was probably a glacial bowl formed during the last Himalayan ice age and left with a lake that gradually withered away. Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop - Khajjiar sanctuary. The Monal Pheasant, a bird which was fairly common till recent times has become relatively difficult to spot nowadays. At Khajjiar there is a 12th century temple dedicated to Khajjair. Within the temple are lifesize wooden images of the five Pandav brothers. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Khajjiar - Dharamshala (150kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Dharamshala. Dharamshala has everything for a perfect holiday. It is full of life and yet peaceful. Covering a wide area in the form of twin settlement, Lower Dharamshala (1380m) is a busy commercial centre. While upper Dharamshala (1830m) with the suburbs of Mcleodganj and Forsytheganj, retains a British flavour and colonial lifestyle. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 06: Dharamshala
After breakfast moveout for local sightseeing. Mcleodganj is a famous little town of Dharamshala also known as "Little Tibet" H. H. The Dalai Lama resides here. At the start of Mcleodganj is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts. At the end of the spur lies the Namgyal Monastery. The external wall is surrounded by rows of prayes wheels. Within the monastery are large idols of Buddha. A valokteshwara and Padamsambhava and walls lined with Thankas. The charming church of St. John in the wilderness is situated here and this is the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century. Numerous ancient temples like Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda lie on the plains below Dharamshala. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day at leisure Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 07: Dharamshala - Manali
Today morning Check Out of your hotel for your drive at 0800 hrs from Dharamsala to Manali. This journey will take around 7 hours of the day arriving Manali at about 1500 hrs. You will stop for your lunch (to be paid directly by you to hotel) at a Highway Motel between Dharamsala / Manali. Evening free to relax and do your own activity. We suggest you to go for a short walk exploring the Mystics of Himachal and local villages with the typical Himachali people dressed up in the most colourful and traditional style. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 08: Manali
This morning you will be taken for full day tour to Manali covering Hadimaba Devi Temple (built in 1553), Vashishth (well known for its hot springs), Jagarsukh, Solang Valley, which has good ski slopes and picnic spots. It has the glacier closest to Manali and the famous Rohtang pass. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 09: Manali - Shimla
This morning after you Check Out, drive Manali to Shimla, which is 270 kilometers, arriving Shimla. Afternoon after a short rest, we suggest you walk down to the famous Mall Road, dominated by tourists at all time throughout the year. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 10: Shimla
Today you will be taken for full day tour of Shimla covering the 06 points of Interest like Indian Institute of Advance Study (popularly known as the Viceroy's hall - this is the Museum where British conducted their meetings during the summers in India!), Kufri(16 kilometers away, this is famous for its wide views and skislopes), Fagu - famous for its enhancing views, Jakhoo Hill, St. Michael's Cathedral, Naldhera (the nine hole golf Course). Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 11: Shimla - Delhi
Today you will be occupied travelling in one of the most interesting train journey. You will be transferred in time to Shimla Railway Station to connect with your train to Kalka Depart Shimla 256 Shimla Kalka Express 1040 hrs Arrive Kalka "Chair Car" 1605 hrs. This distance of 96 Kilometers will make you cross 103 tunnels! All of which were made during the British rule in India. You will be witnessing some spectacular views during this day time journey down hill as your "Toy Train" puffs through the hills of Shimla.Upon arrival at Kalka Train Station at 1605 hrs you will be met with our driver and car (who would arrive Kalka much early to receive you). You will be driven Kalka / Delhi, arriving Delhi at around 2200 hrs.
